78 to 40. That was the final score as the Waterloo Lady Indians basketball team lost Saturday's New York State Class B title game to Irvington. The Irvington Bulldogs have now won four state championships.

The Waterloo Lady Indians basketball team advanced to Saturday's New York State Class B title game with a 65-53 win over Salmon River. Chelsea Steinruck had 25 points in the win, including 5 three-pointers. Teammate Lindsey Johnson also had 25 points and Lauren Deming had 15 to round out the scoring.
The Lady Indians will now play Section One's Irvington, the three time defending state champions tomorrow afternoon at 4 at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.
