Geneva Town Board Hopes To Beef Up Court Security

The Geneva Town Board plans to invest in several security updates at Town Hall if they can find the money. They want to install a metal detector in the entrance to Town Court  and put in a heavy-duty glass window at the court clerk’s office. They would also seek to have an extra deputy in the building on court days.

Town Supervisor Mary Luckern  tells us they think security is OK now but as case loads in Town Court increase they want to be prepared.

The town has already put in at alarm system that is tied into the Sheriff's Office
