Two Car Crash Sends Pregnant Romulus Woman to Hospital

A pregnant Romulus woman has been hurt in a two car crash.

22-year old Sarah Minns of Romulus was headed east on County Road 27 in the Town of Manchester.

54-year old Deborah Maggio of Palmyra was going north on County Road 7.

Investigators say Minns failed to yield the right of way at the posted stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the path of the Maggio vehicle, causing a collision.

Minns, who is 8 months pregnant, complained of abdominal pain. She was treated at the scene by medics from Fingerlakes Ambulance and transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY by Mercy Flight Helicopter for treatment.

Maggio was treated for a head injury by medics from Fingerlakes Ambulance and released at the scene.

Port Gibson Fire Department assisted.

Minns will be ticketed for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign to reappear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
