NYSEG Wants You to Call Before You Dig

The recent deadly explosion in Kansas City, which was likely caused by a subcontractor who ruptured a natural gas line while doing underground work, is an important reminder to both construction-industry professionals and homeowners to always call "Dig Safely New York" at 8-1-1 before starting any digging project. 

                                                    

Kevin Hopper, Operations Manager for Dig Safely, was in Watkins Glen Thursday spreading that message. He tells us how important that 8-1-1 number is.
