Kolb Seeks Amendments To SAFE Act

The Wayne County Board of Supervisors Thursday voted in favor of a resolution calling for the repeal of the recently approved tougher New York gun laws. Twenty-seven counties have now approved resolutions call for changes or the repeal of the laws.

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb says the highly controversial SAFE Act should be flat out repealed. Knowing that seems unlikely he wants two amendments , The first  involves Police on school grounds.

The other amendment exempts police from the provision limiting bullet clips to 7 rounds.

Kolb says the Act is full of problems.
