A public hearing is coming to Auburn City Hall. Folks will have a chance to step up to the podium and give their thoughts on the city of Auburn using best value for awarding purchase and public works contracts. The hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on February 28, as part of the weekly City Council Meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that A PUBLIC HEARING will be held during the City of Auburn Council weekly meeting on the 28th day of February 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, Memorial City Hall, Auburn New York.
The purpose of this hearing is to allow public comment on Local Law #1 of 2013 authorizing the City of Auburn the use of best value for awarding purchase and public works contracts in addition to and in place of the requirement of Subdivision 1 of Section 103of the General Municipal Law regarding competitive bidding.
