Fire damaged a Schuyler County business after a truck that was being welded on caught fire.
Firefighters from Odessa, Montour Falls, Burdett, Watkins Glen, Town and Country, Millport and Mecklenburg all responded to C.J.'s Kuston Auto on County Route 14 near Catharine Corners for the structure fire. Flames quickly spread to the building's wall insulation and rafters and over 50 percent of the ceiling collapsed.
Owner Kevin Rounds plans on rebuilding and said the building was insured.
