He took the money to pay of a cocaine addiction. Today former Greater Canandigua Civic Center Executive Director Michael Cronin drew a one to three year prison term for embezzling over 70-thousand dollars from the Center between Decemeber 2010 and last July.
He pled guilty to second-degree grand larceny last moth. In addition to jail time Judge Frederick Reed ordered full restitution.
Police tells us Cronin wrote checks to himself, pulled money out of a savings account and divert bank deposits.
