Mechanical Bullride to Raise Money for Yates Humane

One of the more unique fundraisers in recent memory for the Humane Society of Yates County will be held this Saturday at the Dundee American Legion. Commander Tom Boorum tells us how this day of mechanical bull riding came about.

 

                                        

that issue was one of the Humane Society's donation boxes housed at the Trading Post in Keuka Park was stolen. Boorum says after hearing how much fun it was, he asked if he could make bull riding a family event.

Family prices to ride is 15 dollars and an individual rider is just five dollars. There'll be food and drinks available all day at the Spring Street Legion. For more information, call 243-8285.
