President Barack Obama is scheduled to deliver the 2013 State of the Union speech later tonight. Congressman Tom Reed is hopeful the President will take the opportunity to acknowledge the great fiscal problems the country faces.
Reed says he's sure he probably won't hear that from the President, but instead we will hear how Democrats are renewing their push to raise taxes. Reed says there's a better solution.
Administration officials say that while Obama used his inaugural address to outline his grand vision and themes for the second term, the State of the Union is going to be more focused on policy. The State of the Union will be given this evening at 9 p.m. It can be heard live on Finger Lakes News Radio.
