As part of an investigation into drug activity, Seneca County Sheriffs deputies pulled over a Waterloo man on Route 318 in the Town of Junius Friday and determined he was driving under the influence of heroin. They then got a search warrant for 31 year old Matthew Delpapa's car and found a quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, and hypodermic needles.

Delpapa was charged with: 2 counts of 3rd Degree Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. Delpapa was arraigned in the Junius Town Court and sent to jail on 5-thousand dollars cash bail. Delpapa is back in Town Court Wednesday.
