UPDATE 10 AM --Power has been restored in Seneca Falls . NYSEG reports limited outages in Romulus and Varick as of 945.
UPDATE 8am- Seneca Falls Schools Remain Open.
NYSEG-New York State Electric and Gas Now reporting 4,403 customers without power in Seneca County. Those in the dark are in Seneca Falls and Fayette.
Seneca Falls Schools-which were already in session when the power went out-will stay open and run on a regular schedule. School officials tell Finger Lakes Daily News that they are expecting the power to be restored by mid-morning, so classes will continue as usual.
RG&E has restored power to all Ontario County customers. 29 in Wayne County remain without power. Early this morning, Rochester Gas and Electric reported over two thousand customers were without power this morning in Ontario County. Those outages were in the town of Canandaigua, East Bloomfield and Farmington.
Three thousand customers were also without power in Livingston County.
Meteorologist Kevin Williams reports a wind gust in Canandaigua of 52 miles per hour before six o'clock this morning. Penn Yan has reported a gust of over 60 miles per hour.
