It once called the southern end of Keuka Lake home, but for now, the Keuka Maid is officially gone. In front of a small gathering at Champlin Beach in Urbana Tuesday afternoon, work crews removed the final pieces of the Maid, which has sat docked and idle since 2006. New owner Jeremy Fields will meet with the Urbana Town Board late Wednesday afternoon for more discussion on the once-popular tourist attraction. Fields had the Maid carefully dismantled and it will now be taken to his Canandaigua business.
