It's just plain nutty. You may have seen events like it on You Tube. But now you can check it out for yourself this summer. The first Generations Bank Empire State Carrying Championships will be held on June 30 at Ventosa Vineyards. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross in the Finger Lakes and Beverly Animal Shelter.
Event Chairman Mark Benjamin says it's basically teams of two people, one lugging the other over the finish line.
