On Wednesday January 23, 2013 at approximately 1:10 pm, members of the Auburn Police Department responded to a panic alarm at the Generations Bank located at 621 N. Seward Ave. Bank employees reported that a black male subject passed a note demanding money. No money was given to the suspect. The suspect fled the bank on foot. Auburn Police, with the assistance of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police conducted a search of the area for the suspect and any related evidence. A person matching the suspect’s description was located by Patrol Officers Pilipczak and LoCastro, and was detained. The suspect, Isaac Earl Nesbit, DOB 1/23/1987 of 3150 Broadway St., New York, NY 10027, was subsequently arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery in the 3RD Degree.
