1030am UPDATE :
It's not a good way to start the day. The Village of Interlaken is dealing with a major water main break near the water tower. Water Commissioner Barbara Stewart tells us water was spotted running down the street early this morning . They want people to conserve water and watch for a boil water advisory.
Repairs might take a while.
We asked Stewart if the break is weather related since many places hovered near zero last night.
Because of the break the South Seneca Elementary School closed at 10:30 . If residents have concerns they should call the Village Office at 607-532-9200. In case of emergency - dial 911.
