An estimated 30 to 40 handguns, plus one rifle, were stolen from a Palmyra gun shop Monday night.
Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms say someone entered D&M Shooting Sports on Route 31 in Palmyra.

None of the guns taken are assault weapons as defined by the recently passed NY Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement (SAFE) Act.
Anyone with information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the weapons is encouraged to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at (315) 946-5747 or the Rochester office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms at (588) 987-2100.
