Congressman Reed Seeks Tax Code Reform

It's more than 70-THOUSAND pages, or 4-million words long and according to Congressman Tom Reed it needs reform this year. Reed, along with Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, plan to push the issue of tax code reform this year.

Reed said reforming the tax code will have a great benefit to all Americans.

Reed cited the National Taxpayer Advocate, which is obligated to provide its annual report to Congress each year. The 2012 report highlighted more than 20 of the most cumbersome problems facing taxpayers because of the United States’ complicated tax code.
