Now that a settlement has been reached in the legal situation that has prevented Joseph Bennett from voting in the Cayuga County Legislature since last January, the county will pay him $13,000 in restitution for legal fees. Cayuga County Administrator Tom Squires told Joe Salzone Wednesday on Finger Lakes Morning News where that money comes from.
Squires says there's a couple hundred thousand dollars in the account.
