Auburn Man Charged with DWI Following Sunday Crash in Town of Fleming

Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a 1 car Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident.

At about 11:17 am on Sunday, January 13, 2013 a green 1988 GMC Vandura van  operated by Lance E. Vivenzio (52, Auburn) was traveling north on Bluefield Rd, Town of Fleming when the operator failed to keep right crossed the southbound lane and exited the roadway striking a tree.  Vehicle was also occupied by Eugene D Henry (49, Auburn).

Mr. Vivenzio was transported to University Hospital by ambulance and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Tickets Issued to Lance E Vivenzio:

- Failure to Keep Right, Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1120a

- Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 511 Sub 3(a)(i). Class E Felony

- Driving While Intoxicated, Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1192 Sub 3. Class E Felony

Additional charges pending further investigation.
