A specially blended Dry Riesling wine from the Finger Lakes will be served at President Obama¹s second inauguration next Monday. The 2010 Tierce Dry Riesling will be paired with a lobster and clam chowder in the first course at the inaugural luncheon. The winemakers at Anthony Road, Fox Run and Red Newt Cellars have been bottling the blend since 2004. Anthony Road owner John Martini says the process is a collaboration.
The wine being served next week has a light touch.

In addition to the Riesling, a Bedell 2009 Merlot wine from Long Island will be served.
