Seneca County Public Health Director Vickie Swinehart says the flu has becoming a more widespread problem, but there aren't any real indications as to why.
The flu can be debilitating for anyone unlucky enough to get it, but it can be deadly for young children and the elderly. Swinehart says the flu can spread quickly in a nursing home.
If you have the flu, try to keep your distance from children and the elderly.
