Scrub Down Germ Laden Shared Work Surfaces During Flu Season

As New York is seeing its worst flu outbreak in a decade health officials are warning people to clean off shared work surfaces like computer keyboards and phones to prevent the spread of the illness. Seneca County Public Health Director Vicki Swinehart says this has to be a serious effort.
A 2007 study from the University of Arizona found that the average desktop has 100 times more bacteria than a kitchen table and 400 times more than the average toilet seat.
