The New York State Thruway Authority announced today E-ZPass holders will be able to use their tags at North Carolina toll facilities starting on Thursday, January 3rd .
E-ZPass customers will be able to travel from North Carolina to Maine, or west to Illinois utilizing the convenience of electronic tolling. E-ZPass is already accepted in 14 states throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
Currently, more than two-thirds of all New York State Thruway customers use E-ZPass, which provides a five-percent discount on all tolls for E-ZPass users.
