The blizzard that has blanketed the Finger Lakes with snow is a good primer on how to handle all that shoveling. Auburn Community Hospital's Anne Leone says older folks should be extra careful before grabbing a shovel and heading into the cold.
Leone is the RN Manager for the hospital's Emergency Room. She also advises caution when choosing what to wear if you'll be in the cold for a while.
And the physically fit among us should also take notice.
Leone also urges caution if you're going to be exposed to the cold temperatures outdoors.
