Plenty of commotion this afternoon on Sunnyside Road in the Town of Middlesex. Yates County Sheriff Ron Spike tells us neighbors became alarmed when an apparent hand grenade was found in the street near a mailbox.
We now have word that the grenade was a toy that someone had tossed in the trash.
