Reed Wants Media To Look Inward As New Debate on Violence Begins

The Newtown and Webster massacres have shaken us to the core. Congressman Tom Reed says there has to be a broad approach to ending the violence. He is open to discussing the gun control and mental health parts of the debate.

Reed adds that a  "societal shift"  is needed. He would like to have the media look inward too on it's coverage.

Reed's comments came during his weekly news conference with area reporters this morning.
