A one car accident in Chemung County Saturday killed a 33 year old Elmira man and critically injured a 22 year old Bath woman.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff's Office, Brett Casselberry and Hillary Sullivan were traveling on Lower Maple Avenue shortly after Noon Saturday when their car left the road and struck a tree. Firefighters had to extricate Sullivan and Casselberry from the car.
Casselberry was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira, while Sullivan was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, where's she listed in critical condition.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
