44-year old Michael Foulkrod of Waterloo has waived his right to a preliminary hearing and his case will head to an Ontario County Grand Jury soon after the first of the year. Last Saturday, Foulkrod allegedly attacked and attempted to abduct Geneva City Council member Jackie Augustine as she was jogging near Pulteney Park.

Foulkrod then sped away in his van and minutes later struck and killed 77-year old Karl Grune downtown on Elm Street. He has been charged with second degree murder in Grune's death because it happened in commission of a felony. Foulkrod faces charges in Seneca County too for breaking into a home last summer in Waterloo and sexually abusing a person there.
