A screaming match led to violence when, police say, a Central Square man choked a woman. Paul Compoli was in Cayuga County Court Tuesday morning, where the 33-year-old pleaded guilty to 1st degree criminal contempt, a felony.
Authorities say Compoli, of 15 Patrick Drive, will be going to prison for 2 to 4 years after admitting in court to choking the woman, who had a full order of protection against him.
Compoli previously was in prison for three years for stealing.
