Man Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Dog in Auburn

The Auburn PD reports an Auburn man was taken into custody Monday after allegedly stabbing a dog. Police say Alan Clark, of 38 Burt Avenue, stabbed the dog shortly before 5pm yesterday after the dog reportedly urinated on the floor.

Officials say 911 was called Monday to 6 Adams Avenue, where police say Clark fled on foot. He was eventually caught and arrested. Clark is charged with felony animal cruelty and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

The dog was taken to a veterinarian for treatment, but the dog's condition is not known.
