Auburn Chamber Orchestra Brings Christmas Early

About two weeks 'til Christmas, but the season really kicked into high gear Sunday afternoon. The Auburn Chamber Orchestra performed a Christmas concert at St. Frances of Assisi Church on Clark Street. The church was nearly jammed to the rafters with people young and old enjoying the sweet sounds of Christmas music.

Conductor Steve Frackenpohl led the revelers in participating at times with claps. The performance ended with Sleigh Ride, and most orchestra members wore Santa hats to put smiles on everyone's faces.
