Update: An additional update posted several hours ago by Easton's Aunt Sara on the family Facebook page: "Easton is doing well. I was up at the hospital with him and Danielle from noon to 5:30 this afternoon. He slept for most of the time, but woke for the last hour or so and was alert and listening, looking around, very content."
Baby Easton Friedel was rushed to Upstate University Hospital overnight when he stopped breathing for a time at his Weedsport home.

From the family Facebook page his dad Jared writes, Easton has recovered, "Easton is stable right now (3am). He's acting his normal self. He stopped breathing at home.. .. all of a sudden there was nothing but dashes on his monitor, picked him up and he wasn't responsive. He was blue/purple, immediately gave him mouth to mouth for a good minute. Then a good gasp for air. They are admitting us here at upstate till further notice."

Easton was born with a rare condition (Epidermolysis Bullosa) where his skin peels off in thin tissue like pieces. He was born in August. He returned to New York last month after being cared for in a hospital in Cincinnati.
