When they flick the lights on for Geneva's City Christmas tree tonight they will be using green energy. Casella Area Manager John Taddonio says they have developed a mini power station that uses wind and solar power. Casella will make it available for festivals and community events.

Casella worked with another local firm Arista Power to make the power station. Arista manufactures similar equipment for the US military for use in isolated areas like Afghanistan.
