Five years probation for a veteran. Prosecutors say Dana Lansdowne went on a 3-month crime spree this year, between May and July, in five counties. Lansdowne is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of construction equipment in that time period.
28-year-old Lansdowne, whose lawyer said the Marine suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, still facing charges in Cortland, Onondaga, Orleans, and Tioga counties. Landsdowne also agreed to pay $5,417 in restitution for damages to a stolen trailer.
