As the year comes to an end, many people are taking time to reflect. For the Red Cross, they're looking at something more from the beginning of 2012 -- heroes. The Central NY chapter of the American Red Cross is holding a breakfast recognizing 15 heroes from Central NY.
The 14th Annual Real Heroes Breakfast is Wednesday morning, December 5th in Syracuse. Some of the honorees include a Cato man who used a piece of lumber to distract a bull mauling his neighbor in August, and two members of the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office for rescusing three boaters.
The Red Cross says the yearly breakfast celebrates the group's mission of alleviating human suffering.
