
Richard J. Lupo
Macedon Police report the arrest on 11/27/2012 of 55-year old Richard J. Lupo of Auburn New York. The arrest stems from an ongoing investigation for meat thefts around the area supermarkets including Walmart, Breen’s and Wegmans.
On October 23rd it was discovered that Lupo had $235.00 worth of stolen meat in his vehicle. The investigation revealed that Lupo and another male entered the supermarkets and loaded up a shopping cart and exited the stores failing to render payment for meat.
Lupo was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree and was released on an appearance ticket. He'll answer the charge in court on January 29, 2013.
The investigation is continuing and police say charges will be filed against Lupo’s accomplice at a later date.
