Things aren't looking good for Auburn schools. The district facing a $4 million deficit in the budget for 2013-2014. During a board meeting, the district's business administrator Lisa Green says the budget that school year would probably see a 3.4% rise in spending over current levels.
Green says the deficit would be the result of a 2% tax levy increase and more money used to fund the teacher retirement system.
