Two Steuben County men were arrested over the weekend for firing shots inside of a vehicle. Sheriff's Deputies received a call around 11 Saturday night regarding a suspicious vehicle on Atkin Road in the town of Cohocton.
40 year old Ryan Mehlenbacher of Cohocton, a passenger in the car, was charged with unlawful possession of a loaded firearm while 21 year old Jeffrey Howes, also of Cohocton, was charged with aggravated drunken driving and unlawful possession of a loaded firearm.
Both men were issued appearance tickets.
