Starting today, New York State Police have joined the world of social media. New Yorkers can now “like” the State Police on Facebook and “follow” them on on twitter. Superintendent Joseph D’Amico says “Facebook and twitter give us a chance to directly communicate and interact with the people we serve across New York State. Not only will we be able to get important public safety information out quickly, but New Yorkers will also get to know more about the work our Troopers do in their communities"
