South Seneca - Romulus Merger Study Final Report Due Tonight

There are 2 things that identify a town: its post office and school. Changes to either bring up strong emotions. After nine months of work at 6:30 tonight people in  the Romulus and South Seneca School Districts will get a final report on the merger study that has been conducted by Education Consultants, Dr. William  Silky and Alan Pole. Silky realizes the very idea of merging is upsetting to some.                                 

The meeting tonight will be at the South Seneca Middle/Senior High Auditorium in Ovid. Following tonights report,each  district will hold a number of public meetings. Then in February each school Board will decide whether or not to merge. If they say yes , there would be a public straw vote and then a final referendum.
