Ontario County Sheriff's deputies responded to the area of Route 96, in the Town of Farmington, after receiving a car about an accident involving a pedestrian Saturday night. 23-year old Jessica Guzewicz of Manchester was driving east on Route 96 when she hit 32-year old Quincy Meeks of Rochester, who was in the roadway. Meeks was taken to FF Thompson Hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead at 10:10pm. A coroner was called to the hospital. Route 96 was closed for several hours while the Ontario County Sheriff's Office accident reconstruction team attempted to discover the cause of the accident. The cause is still under investigation and no charges haver been filed at this time.
