Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say 44 year old Betsye Pender-Lane was sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle that was running in her home’s driveway when it began to roll, Pender-Lane was knocked to the ground when she attempted to get out of the vehicle, and it ran over her arm and leg.
The vehicle continued to roll, went down a small embankment and came to a stop against a tree.
Pender-Lane was taken to F.F. Thompson Hospital by Canandaigua Ambulance personnel for treatment of her injuries. The Cheshire Fire Department assisted at the scene.
