Next month Cayuga County Legislators will vote on a proposed budget, presented last week by County Administrator Tom Squires. The county hopes to borrow $22,450,000 to fund a couple big projects.
Squires says the money will partially fund a 911 radio project. That's about $10 million. Another $9 millon will go toward expanding Cayuga Community College's Fulton campus. The Ways and Means Committee met Wednesday, and will meet again tonight to propose changes. Then the whole Legislature gives their input November 27th.
A final vote takes place December 13th.
