Watkins Glen Fire Department Collecting Goods for Sandy Victims

The impact of Hurricane Sandy in the downstate area and New Jersey is still being felt and one local fire company is looking to help residents there. Watkins Glen Fire Chief Dominick Smith tells us it all started last weekend when members of his department got together trying to decide how they could help....

Smith tells us what's being dropped off for the victims....

and how will they get the donated goods down to where they're needed?

Anyone wishing to drop off more goods may do so until Thursday morning. If nobody is present at the fire house to help you, you're asked to leave the donated items outside the door just north of the truck bays.
