Penn Yan Charette Saturday at Middle School

On Saturday, members of the Penn Yan community are invited to the middle school for a day long intensive planning session where they, along with other contributors, can work on a vision for the future of the village. Brian Zerges from Finger Lakes Premier Properties is one of those involved in the charette. He says it will involve a wide variety of people....

Zerges says the time to plan for Penn Yan's future is now.

Saturday's session runs from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tonight, Thomas Hilton, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, will speak at 7 at the Middle School Auditorium. Hilton is the author of "Save our Lands, Save our Towns," a plea for comprehensive planning to save our cities, towns and countryside
