The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of Ronald L. Norris Jr., 36, reported as homeless following a domestic disturbance on North Main Street. Investigation alleged Norris engaged in a physical confrontation with another family member where he is accused of grabbing the victim by the neck as well as tampering with the phone service to prevent the victim from being able to call for police assistance. Norris was charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation. Norris was arraigned and committed to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of cash bail.
