Dan Maffei was in Auburn Tuesday. The Congressional candidate talked to the Auburn Rotary Club at the Holiday Inn on North Street. Maffei said he's approaching 5 years as a Rotarian, before talking about his professional background.
Maffei answered questions about education and social security. On education, Maffei told the crowd neither party has all the solutions, adding education is a national priority. Maffei said no politician will do anything to harm social security.
The former Congressman is running against Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R) and Green Party candidate Ursula Rozum to represent the 24th congressional district, which includes Cayuga County.
