Seneca County Sheriff's deputies and investigators are doing "random, unannounced spot checks of convicted sex offenders living in Seneca County," Sheriff Jack Stenberg says. "We want to make certain our children are safe and are able to enjoy the traditional Halloween activities without worry".
He says "We encourage parents to visit the Seneca County Sheriff's Office website at and click on the Sex Offender tab to search for convicted sex offender locations in Seneca County.
