Central New York ER's and Police Departments were swamped this summer dealing with people who used and abused the highly unpredictable synthetic drugs called "bath salts." Cayuga County DA Jon Budelman says the drugs were a menace.
Budelman tells us cases have gone down since the Governor and area US Attorneys took on head shops while the Cayuga County Legislature acted to make possession of bath salts illegal.
